Plot
[edit]14-year-old Tina has sex with her new boyfriend, Ray. Ray later ends his relationship with Tina, telling her that he must focus upon his athletic goals. When Tina discovers that she has started her period, she is extremely relieved. On Tina's 15th birthday, she is despondent because another birthday has passed and she does not have a boyfriend.

A five foot one, slightly plump senior-age woman, with no spectacular accomplishments or awards beyond an art scholarship in sixth grade and two second place prizes for essays in Junior High school, she is clearly not a standout in any milieu. Tina went to college, got two Masters degrees while helping to raise three children so that she could teach nursery and elementary school and then work in business as a leadership assessor and coach, which she has been doing for about thirty years. She grew up in the NYC suburbs and now, like scads of other former New Yorkers, lives in Florida with her husband of over fifty years, but not with any animals nor their three grown children each of whom is doing their thing to contribute to the world and/or themselves. She would love it if someone read The Pulpit Bully, including friends and relatives who haven’t, and would be thrilled if they got something out of it, even if it was an hour or two where they didn’t have to do something else that was unpleasant.
