Dr. Sarwar Alam teaches at the King Fahd Center for Middle East and Islamic Studies of University of Arkansas. He received his doctorate in Public Policy from the same university in 2006. He graduated from Chittagong University in Political Science and has an MA in Human Resource Development from Pittsburg State University. Before moving to the United States, he served in the Civil Service of Bangladesh, working as an assistant secretary in the Ministries of Primary and Mass education, Women’s and Children’s Affairs and Textiles and Jute.
