    Merve is an artist born in Istanbul. She graduated from Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University as a ceramic artist in 2010. Merve is co-founder of “Choke Jungle” where she started to design ceramic jewelry. Some of the works there were featured by renown magazines like British Vogue, Elle and Marie Claire.

    She also started working on collage projects since 2012. In this form of art, a piece of art is made of different parts, creating a new artwork. Özaslan creates new visual stories while she uses old black and white photographs and combines them with pieces of nature.
