Impressive guy and a go-getter. I always admire people who are geniuses at what they do and are passionate about it.

    Some things I found interesting:

--Bill read the entire World Book Encyclopedia at the age of 7.

--At age 15, Bill and a partner wrote a computer program that measured Seattle traffic flow, for which they were paid $20K.

--In 1986, Bill took Microsoft public. Bill and his partner/cofounder Paul Allen became millionaires practically overnight and by 1987, they were billionaires. Bill was only 31 yrs old at the time, making him the youngest self-made billionaire at the time.

--When Bill married Melinda in Hawaii, they rented all the hotel rooms on the island and hired all the helicopters to ensure privacy. (It's crazy to me what having so much money will make you do and what you will spend for things when money is not an issue.)

--Guests at BG's house can wear a tiny Microsoft badge that contains information on their favorite things. The chip will send a signal so that if they enter their guest room, their favorite music plays, the room is adjusted to a temperature of their liking, and even their favorite artwork will appear on wall screens.

--Bill's favorite room is his library. It has a secret room that holds

After reading this following book, I understood the life of Bill Gates, Microsoft, and how he became successful. While reading this biography, I enjoyed how the author starts off the story with pictures and factual information about Bill Gates mother, father, and siblings. The biography mainly shows how he mostly fell in love with computers at such a young age. Early in the biography, it states how Bill Gates loved programming computers in the school he attended, and how he programmed a tic-tac-toe game. The biography also talks about how he enjoyed certain subjects in school, how he scored nearly perfect on his SAT, and how he attended Harvard University. During the process of reading this book, it states how Bill Gates craved technology and started off his business so successfully at such a young age. Towards the end of the story, it talks more about his personal life and the success of his business overtime. What I enjoyed mostly about this book was how interesting it was to learn about the personal life of one of the worlds richest men.
