Having performed many Concerts and given several University Master Classes and Conservatory Lectures in the concert Halls and Higher Musical Institutions of BOTH the Ukraine and Russia I am personlly deeply concerned about the most recent War.
I personally am convinced that IF the general Russian people knew what was truly happening in the Ukraine at this time they would not support this devastating attack on the Ukraine State and it's people. On the contrary!
I am not a Politician and can only, in my simple musical way, try to help in this very tragic and extremely serious situation.
Convinced that this tragic War must stop and since my heart goes out to the people of the Ukriane and most especially the refugeed woman and children who have had to flee their homes and even country, I have decided to help with this situation by organising a special Benifit Concert, which is to take place on the 7th of May in the Grand Concert Hall of the Hochschule für Musik here in Würzburg, Germany.
I am very gratefull to report that several of my closest and long-time Colleagues here in Wuerzburg have graciously agreed to perform with me in this Concert!
